Refund or Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes you just can’t make it to an event you are registered for. So, for those who have registered but cannot participate this year, we offer you the option to request for a full refund on any optional add-on purchases, e.g. merchandise.
Registration fee is non-refundable. You may, however, transfer your Registration fee to another year.
To be eligible for a full refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To process and complete your refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

I declare that all information provided is true and correct, I am in good health, physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in the event, I agreed to comply with the rules, conditions and regulations for this event, which includes the payment of the entry fee required.
I hereby release and discharge the organizers of the Selebi-Phikwe Marathon, BAA sponsors, officials and or volunteers’ medical personnel, and local authorities from any laws, damage however cost arising from my participation in the event including pre and postrace activities. This waiver applies to our executors, HBRS, Administrators, assigns and myself.
I undertake not to exhibit or wear any advertising material or logos that are contrary to the rules of BAA and IAAF. I also grant my permission, in terms of Section 51 of the electronic communications transactions Act 25 of 2002, to use my names, race information, photographs, videotapes, broadcasts in which it may appear free of charge and to supply the information to the sponsors of the Selebi-Phikwe Marathon.
This race is under the rules and auspices of IAAF, BAA. Foreign Athletes should note IAAF rule 4 which requires them to obtain written approvals (permits) from their own federation in a foreign country.
